Air in the atmosphere shields us from meteoroids. When meteoroids reach our atmosphere, they rub against the air and produce streaks of light as they burn into small pieces before reaching the Earth a phenomenon widely known as “meteor shower” or “shooting star”.
Our naked eyes may not see air and yet it’s one of the most valuable resources all of us living things can’t live without.
